BRIGHT recently attended the 2026 Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI) Conference and took part in the AI + Neuroscience forum, where it followed key discussions at the intersection of artificial intelligence and brain science.
The 2026 BAAI Conference brought together leading researchers, technologists, entrepreneurs, and academic institutions to discuss the next generation of AI. The program covered a broad range of frontier topics, including large models, embodied intelligence, world models, AI for healthcare, and cross-disciplinary innovation.
The AI + Neuroscience forum explored how advances in brain science may inform future AI systems and how AI tools may support new ways of understanding the brain. For BRIGHT, attending the forum provided a valuable opportunity to follow the direction of AI and neuroscience research in China and globally. These conversations are closely aligned with BRIGHT’s long-term interest in responsible technology, neuroplasticity, data-driven research, and practical innovation for individuals and families affected by brain injury.
